Young band Director

Born in Cox (Alicante) in 1982 and began his musical studies trombone, at the age of 9, at the Academy of Musical Society "the Harmonica" Cox. He studied at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Murcia with Professor José Antonio Molina Riquelme, continuing his training at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Óscar Esplá" of Alicante with Professor Javier García Fernández, graduating in 2009 as Superior trombone Teacher. In the year 2000 he was the winner of the 2nd prize of the III Regional contest of musical interpretation "Vega Baja-Baix Vinalopó". He has been a member of the Youth Orchestra of the region of Murcia, symphonic Orchestra of Alicante, Orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Óscar Esplá" of Alicante, Valencian Baroque Orchestra, Jumilla Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Orchestra of the UCAM (Murcia) . He studied direction at L´Escola comarcal de Música de la Vall D´Albaida (Valencia) with maestro José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana, in addition to conducting training courses with José de Eusebio in conducting, Marcel Van Bree and Llorenç Mendoza in direction of Banda and José Vicente Sanchís in the direction of Coro. In 2011 he won the first prize in the 2nd International Band Management Competition "Eusebio Rivera" held at the Teatro Apolo in the city of Almería. He has been titular director of the Musical Association "Santiago Apostle" of Albatea (Alicante) as well as his music school from October 2010 to October 2013. With this band harvesting different awards: 1st Prize for Best musical accompaniment in the parade of Moors and Christians of the ring, years 2012 and 2013, and 2nd Prize in the XLII Provincial competition of bands of Music of Alicante in 4th category. He has directed to the Municipal band of Almería, Ateneo musical de Villajoyosa (Alicante), Unión musical de Beniarrés (Alicante), Societat joined musical de Alberic (Valencia), Musical Society "the Harmonica" of Cox (Alicante), choir of the University of Alicante, orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Óscar Esplá" of Alicante and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM). He has composed different works for chamber music, band and orchestra where it is worth mentioning the 2nd Prize of the contest of composition of marches of procession of Almería 2016 with his march of procession "virtue". He teaches music language, trombone and chamber music at the Music School "Antonio Quirante" of Cox (Alicante), and musical language at the school of Music of the Montesinos (Alicante). He also manages the young band of the Musical Society "la Harmonica" by Cox (Alicante).
